Pastor for Young Adults

Rev Steve Hales is married to Erica and they have two adult daughters, Sarita (married to Jono) and Jasmine. Steve has been in pastoral ministry since 2001, serving at West Ryde for 14 years and Carlingford for 6 years, both with a focus on embracing the cultural diversity in the surrounding community. He has been involved in Church Health for many years and currently serves part-time on the Church Health team with the Baptist Association. Steve and Erica moved to the Northern Rivers at the beginning of 2021 for Steve to join the team at Lismore Baptist Church and look to partnering with others for church planting and health in our region. Steve and Erica love being part of a community of people open to God’s leading, ready to learn, grow and serve. They are also thankful to God for bringing them to such a beautiful part of the world.
